Onimusha: Way of the Sword - Standard vs Deluxe vs Premium Deluxe
Use this page when you are deciding which edition to buy. It separates the bundle-level comparison from platform-specific prices and availability that can change.
The Standard Edition is the base game. Deluxe adds the Deluxe Kit, while Premium Deluxe adds both the Deluxe Kit and Premium Kit. The official store listing describes the bonus content as charms, sword appearances, outfits, haori, an Oni Gauntlet appearance and a mini digital soundtrack; exact prices and availability should be checked on your platform store.

Edition comparison
| Edition | What it adds | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | Base game | Players who only want the main game |
| Deluxe | Base game plus Deluxe Kit | Players who want the first bonus bundle |
| Premium Deluxe | Base game plus Deluxe Kit and Premium Kit | Players who want the largest listed bundle |
Deluxe Kit vs Premium Kit
| Bundle level | Confirmed scope | Needs verification |
|---|---|---|

| Premium Kit | Included inside Premium Deluxe | Which individual items belong to the standalone Premium Kit and whether the listing differs by platform or region |
What the bonus content changes
The official listing separates gameplay-adjacent charms from appearance and soundtrack extras:
- Charms strengthen Miyamoto Musashi's abilities when equipped.
- Sword appearances, haori, outfits and the Oni Gauntlet appearance change cosmetics rather than battle performance.
- The mini digital soundtrack is an in-game listening feature and does not change the music played during gameplay.
What to do
Decide whether you need the base game only
Choose Standard if the campaign is the only thing you want and the bonus bundle is not part of your purchase decision.
Compare the kit contents
Check whether the listed charms, appearances, outfits, gauntlet item and soundtrack justify the edition upgrade for you.
Verify your platform storefront
Before buying, confirm the current regional price, platform availability, base-game requirement and any delayed content notice.
Prerequisites and scope
The edition comparison is supported by a third-party YouTube buyer guide and an official PlayStation Store listing for the Premium Deluxe Kit. The item categories are useful across the comparison, but regional storefronts, platform bundles and later content availability can differ.

Evidence notes
The YouTube comparison is useful for the purchase decision and edition framing, but it is not an official inventory source. Use the PlayStation Store listing for the confirmed item categories and for the distinction between cosmetic items, ability-strengthening charms and the in-game soundtrack.
